The Recording Session
One in-home session recorded during your third trimester or the early weeks after birth. We capture your heartbeat, your voice, and the living sounds of your body. Our sound engineer weaves them into a seamless 4 hour recording your baby will recognize the moment they hear it. In home sessions are available in Northern Virginia or DC.
Not Local to DC or Northern Virginia? We will send you a recording kit and walk you through step by step on how to capture your womb sounds. Send us your audio and we professionally produce and master your recording, then deliver your finished keepsake directly to you.

What exactly happens during the womb recording session?
To book email jesswherry.doula@gmail.com. We come to your home and set up using the same professional-grade listening tools trusted in clinical prenatal care. The session takes about 30 minutes and feels more like a peaceful, intimate experience than a procedure. We capture the full living soundscape of your womb- your heartbeat, placental flow, belly sounds, and voice. You just relax and let us do the rest.
How is the recording process handled?
Everything is non-invasive and completely comfortable. We place our equipment gently on your body and record multiple layers of sound. After your session, our sound engineer blends everything into a seamless 4-hour audio file. This is delivered digitally, usually within 7 days of your session.
What keepsakes do I receive after the session?
You receive a 4-hour personalized audio recording delivered digitally MP3 for everyday play.
How should I play the recording for my baby?
For the richest, most immersive experience, we recommend playing through a Bluetooth speaker or smart speaker rather than directly from your phone. Low-to-medium volume placed near your baby's sleep space works beautifully. Most phone speakers won't capture the full warmth of the recording.
